  I have the points taken on the expansion of this forum and I agree that in
this instance it aids the expediency of our work to keep the people involved to
a minimum.  I my primary thought to include vendors was to make certain that
the Unicode fidel table does not leave out any characters that a software is
already using.  This should be a point to discuss later, a system built into
the unicode table to allow for the addition of characters that may inevitably
be overlooked.  Or even to allow for characters not yet invented -I invision
true Ethiopic Email that uses an Ethiopic character for "@" :-)  Perhaps a
circle with (a) inside -ha ha.  It may be wise thought to distribute our
proposal to some vendors in the final stages, but with out the intent of
redesign of a table.  We can discuss these issues when we arrive to them, lets
not get off track now.  

BTW, yonas and I have been in the habbit of putting characters intended as
fidel within (x) where "x" is the sera equivalent of the letter.  Of course \x\
works too.

sorted by both category and date.  This is not so hard for me to maintain,
particularly if you write to me back here.  Other users who try to get in
without specifying the mail.html we be decoyed by a dummy page.

Abass, I do not know what your situation is.  If you do not have Mosaic or
Netscape service at neosoft (in which case you may not have noticed that
your fonts are now being used at web sites in 3 nations), you may find that the
text-only "Lynx" is available.

An indicator for the timeliness of this work; I read today from a Mule mail
list that merger of Mule and GNU (regular) Emacs has begun, the XEmacs (aka
Lucid Emacs) people, separately, have begun merging Mule.  So, fidel is on
the move in a BIG way in the Unix world!  The head of GNU has insisted in past
that Unicode be used in any Multilingual implementation of GNU Emacs.  So let
us not make haste!  Windows '96 anyone?

Abass again, would it be possible to receive by email the LaTeX document of
the last draft proposal?  So that another of us might share the burden of 
editting and revising?
