I OCR scanned it in this evening and added a little html markup around the body. It looks ok but not exactly like the original (fewer pages since we have scrolling capabilities). So, the text is always at hand now, should you wish to refer to it while make edits to your section. Naturally we can keep our revised version in html form as we develop it. -Yonas, ignore last message, the file you sent was ok, and the gif of your revised Desta table with our [punct][numbers][fidel] sequences is on the top level page. I reshuffled a few characters at the start to insert the Ethiopic `?' and the gemination characer that we had discussed earlier. I add those characters by editing pixels. Looking at the desta-based table I am wondering now about 2 permutations. What we have now is: ke ku ki ka kE k ko - kWe kWu kWi kWa KWE where `-' is a blank cell. But should it be left blank? Or should we keep the series contiguous like: ke ku ki ka kE k ko kWe kWu kWi kWa KWE Or (I may be thinking algorithmically) is there any benefit in keeping the address contiguous and following with the form of the chars having 8 forms: ke ku ki ka kE k ko kWa kWe kWu kWi KWE Which also departs more from tradition. Oh, I just noticed that (e3) was left out. I'll try to remake the gif tomorrow maybe. -yTna, Was there a reason the Ethiopic quotation marks were omitted in the '93 table? -yonas again, I added one of our exchanges to the mail.html page since it touched on these topics. I thought it would be best to make sure the thoughts were preserved. ...must run, -dan'El
