Seven variant glyphs are known for the DDA series of Oromiffa. The Ge'ez (first)
order is presented below

A point of interest arises from the 2nd of the two DDA glyphs. The sound of the letter
DDA is similar to that of the (TZA series 1340 - 1346) as it is
pronounced in spoken Ge'ez. Hence the similarity of the line through the middle of the
circular region. The difference in the Ge'ez pronunciation of is that
it is explosive form of ``d'' while is implosive.
ETHIOPIC SYLLABLE GWAA : 130F
A variant of GWAA is found in the Leslau text on Chaha, it is likely to appear elsewhere
in documents before the first half of this century.
