interested Germans, titled "SELAM", under the direction of Dawit Habtu 
and myself.

General membership meetings (typically once every two months) are called by executive committee on as-needed basis. The community center has been open since October 1994. Ongoing activities include 'Drar mshet' (typically last Saturday of the month); the sport and education commitees are just beginning to outline their programs for 1995. The center is equipped with a pool table and ping-pong table for recreation.
